Spanish Level 1 links and information

  • Click here to read about the reading initiative!

    • In order to encourage students to read at all levels we are currently looking to create a 'library' of resources to encourage students to explore on their own. To be able to process and understand what they are reading it's necessary to provide reading possibilities that are on or close to the reading ability of the learner: this can be tricky but once a learner has had some success reading they are much more likely to read independently.

Links to graded readers for levels 1-4 Spanish: (the Spanish teacher of the year in OK has given us suggestions of titles that she has used successfully: do you have suggestions?)

Native speakers will need appropriate reading material: magazines, novels, graphic novels, and even comic books! We are going to reach out to librairies, the PTA and other sources to try to put together a 'library' for each school. Do you have some suggestions? If the source is a CFB approved vendor we may be able to get approval!
