To celebrate the beginning of Spanish and Hispanophone
Culture month here are some great sources of information,
videos and lesson plans using authentic resources.

The following is a website that provides information on the celebration,
of hispanophone culture but also focuses on seven Tejanas:
Gloria Anzaldúa, Rosita Fernández, Carmen Lomas Garza,
Sheryl Luna, Lydia Mendoza, Carmen Tafolla, and Kathy Vargas. T
he main page includes videos and links to seven individual pages
featuring these women. Each page has photos, biographical information,
videos, and links to other informational pages.

Complete units of study:


Center.  It is free, but you need to sign up as a teacher.  
Once there and logged in, you can search for materials for heritage language learners under Spanish.  
There are 6 units for heritage language learners that are complete units covering AP themes.
